Heading down to Texas

We are heading down to Goliad, TX.  You're probably wondering what is in Goliad.

Well, there is not a lot there, but there is a special event that happens there twice a year at the Goliad Industrial Air Field.

The Texas Mile is taking place on Friday, October 22, 2010, to Sunday, October 24, 2010.

PSI will be going to watch Underground Racing in their attempts to break 255 mph in the standing mile.  John Reed Racing tunes these high horsepower beasts built by Underground Racing.

Jason Oefelein will be accompanied by a videographer and photographer to document this historic event.  The videographer is Ryan Davis, of Yaer Productions (http://yaerproductions.com/).  He does some incredible work and we can't wait to see the footage he puts together for this event.  The photographer is Kyle Tomita.

The main focus is to document the day in the life of a premier tuner, John Reed.  We will focus on his responsibilities trackside, tuning and monitoring the world's fastest Lamborghini.  We will also be there to record the record breaking runs from Jonah's Twin-Turbo Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, built by Underground Racing.

Along with Lamborghini's, Underground Racing develops twin-turbo kits for Ferrai's, Viper's, Ford GT's, and Audi R8's. Check more of their amazing builds on their site, http://www.undergroundracing.com/home.html.

We look forward to this opportunity and will get some excellent video and photo footage.
