Many of you don't know what Zooey Magazine is and neither did we when we first heard about it from Katee Sackhoff, Erick's sister.

Katee sent a link to Erick regarding an interview she had recently done with Zooey Magazine. They were interviewing her because her show "Longmire" is premiering its second season in a couple of weeks. In the interview, she talks about how she got started in acting and her career. They also ask her about PSI and if we have built her anything, but sadly we have not. But hopefully in the near future, that is somthing that will change.

We are proud to have helped support them and Bridges Racing on their 2012 Formula D effort. We can't wait to see Robbie Nishida go for Daigo's title next year.
This past weekend our photographer went out to Woodburn Dragstrip for the Night of Fire. One of our friends, Wally, brought down his twin-turbo Ford Mustang to compete in the Last Man Standing Outlaw 10.5 competition. There was a large, $10k payout and it attracted a lot of big competition.
Last weekend, July 1st, Pat's Acres Racing Complex held an open drift. We sent down our photographer to cover this local event and get some footage of Kyle Pollard in the Nissan Silvia and another car. Upon first arrival, the amount of people already there was amazing. This was the largest turnout of both drivers and spectators.
Everyone recognizes the 550whp SR powered Silvia and Pollard put on a good show.
This past weekend was the 52nd Rose Cup Races at Portland International Raceway.

This past weekend, we were fortunate to have nice weather. A few of us from PSI made it down to Woodburn Dragstrip for Woodburn Drags 2012 - Round 1. We were there to support one of our own. Ken, our engine builder, machinist, and consultant, competes in the Sport Compact Pro class. He normally drives his twin-turbo Toyota Supra that runs 10s.
However, his car was not ready for Round 1 because he has been busy working on engines for us.

Part of our team made the trip down to Long Beach, but they were busy working on the cars and did not get many photos. Working in the pits, gives you a different perspective on the event. Check out Episode 4 of Journey to Drift. Loren Haleston and Kyle Pollard are back at it again. Loren continues to follow Kyle and his crew as they prepare for various drift events. This episode is longer than most and covers PARC and the days leading up to Nissan Fest.
Kyle Pollard, our sponsored driver and friend, has started his Journey to Drift. After a slow start in 2011, with only having his car ready for the last few events, Kyle plans to push harder this season. We will be continuing our support for Kyle as he prepares his RHD Nissan Silvia K's for the first round of Formula Drift at Long Beach.
