This past weekend, rally invaded PSI. Two major Rally America teams arrived on Friday and have been using PSI as the home base, while they prepare their cars for the Oregon Rally this coming weekend.
While the rally prep was going on, we were working to get Ryan Tuerck's Scion FR-S ready for Formula D Atlanta.
During practice on the Streets of Long Beach, Ryan Tuerck got to first test the true power of the 2JZ powered Scion FR-S we built him.

It has come to that time again, the start of the Formula Drift series. The series starts on the streets of Long Beach. For the past few years, PSI's involvement in FD has slowly increased. From working with Andrew Coomes and Kyle Pollard, we have expanded to work with many other drivers and teams. This season we are working with veterans like Ryan Tuerck, Robbie Nishida, Dean Kearney, and the Brides Racing team, and rookies like Rob Primo and Chris Jeanneret.

The Top 32 is over and the Top 16 is set. Ryan Tuerck beat Jeff Jones to advance, after Jones' car broke.
In Top 16, Tuerck went against Justin Pawlak and came out the winner.

Network A released a bonus episode of Tuerck'd from Ryan's trip to Oregon. Ryan and Retaks chose us to build his 2013 Formula D competition car, a 2013 Scion FR-S. As you probably have seen already, the powerplant that was chosen was a single turbo 2JZ.
With Formula D Long Beach coming up next week, Ryan Tuerck's Retaks Scion FR-S is on its way there. We spent many longs nights in the last several weeks getting the car ready. Before leaving, Ryan Tuerck spent a few days testing the 2jZ FR-S at the local kart racing center, Pat's Acres Racing Complex.
